Don't be afraid to bloom into everything you've always wanted to be. :)
As part of The Sandbox Collective's Imaginarium: A Festival of the Absurd, I created a wall piece inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. What if the playing cards sought revenge against the Queen of Hearts?
This piece is around three feet tall and eight feet wide, and is made of painted paper flowers on a cloth canvas.
Type Kita is the Manila-based community of typography, lettering, and calligraphy enthusiasts, with exhibits and workshops organized throughout the year. I joined the first one in March 2014, and created this framed piece made of paper petals. It is ten inches tall and 30 inches wide.
When I turned 25, I made a list of 25 life lessons I had learned so far. This was my way of remembering them! I did the lettering, made the complementary paper crafts, and shot the images. Full write-ups for each of these can be found on Confetti Diary.
